SUNSTEP always takes part in the National Science week.  We have gone to the Eastern Cape and West Coast, but mostly go to Sasolburg where we train up to 550 learners to assemble and understand an electronic kit.  These learners have never had the opportunity to do this, as it is seldom done in the classroom.  At first they are awestruck, but as soon as they realize they can actually do this, they become very excited.
